Introduction

Information We Collect

Data Stored on Your Device

To make the app work, Japanana stores the following on your device only: your study progress and answers, mistakes, review sessions, statistics, your onboarding answers and study plan, and your settings (language, theme, reminders, app icon). This data is never sent to us.

Home screen and lock screen widgets read a summary of this data (streak, grammar of the day, weekly activity) from storage shared between the app and its widgets on the same device.

Backups

If you choose to back up your progress, Japanana saves a backup file to your own iCloud Drive or to a location you pick. We have no access to these backups. iCloud is provided by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.

Notifications

Daily reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push notification service or device token is used.

Sharing

Recap videos and images are created on your device and are only shared when you choose to share them, through the system share sheet.

Third-Party Services

Japanana uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases (Japanana Pro and tips). RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history in order to process and restore purchases. It is not linked to your identity. Please see RevenueCat's privacy policy for details on how they handle this data.

Purchases themselves are processed by Apple. If you send feedback, it goes through your own email app and we only receive what you choose to send.

Consent to Share Consumption Data with Apple

By using our app and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests. This information may include details about how you have accessed and interacted with the purchased content. The purpose of sharing this data is to help Apple make an informed decision regarding refund requests. We ensure that such data sharing is done in compliance with Apple's policies and only as necessary to process your requests.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete all study data at any time with Settings → Reset Progress, or by deleting the app. Backups you created can be deleted from your iCloud Drive or wherever you saved them.

Children

Japanana is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated through the app or on this website, and the updated date will be displayed at the top of the policy.

収集する情報

端末に保存されるデータ

アプリの動作のため、学習の進捗と回答、間違えた文法、学習セッション、統計、オンボーディングの回答と学習プラン、設定（言語、テーマ、リマインダー、アプリアイコン）を端末内にのみ保存します。これらのデータが私たちに送信されることはありません。

ホーム画面・ロック画面のウィジェットは、同じ端末内でアプリと共有される領域から、その概要（連続記録、今日の文法、今週の学習）を読み込みます。

バックアップ

バックアップを選択した場合、ご自身のiCloud Driveまたは指定した場所にバックアップファイルを保存します。私たちがバックアップにアクセスすることはできません。iCloudはAppleのプライバシーポリシーに基づいて提供されます。

通知

毎日のリマインダーは端末内で予約されるローカル通知です。プッシュ通知サービスやデバイストークンは使用しません。

共有

振り返り動画や画像は端末内で作成され、ご自身が共有を選んだときにのみ、共有シートを通じて共有されます。

第三者サービス

アプリ内課金（Japanana Proとチップ）の管理にRevenueCatを使用しています。RevenueCatは購入の処理と復元のため、匿名のユーザーIDと購入履歴を受け取ります。これらがお客様の身元と結び付けられることはありません。詳しくはRevenueCatのプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください。

決済はAppleが処理します。フィードバックはお使いのメールアプリから送信され、私たちが受け取るのは送信された内容のみです。

Appleへの利用データの提供

アプリを利用しアプリ内課金を行うことで、返金リクエストの解決のため、購入したコンテンツの利用状況に関するデータをAppleに提供することに同意したものとみなされます。このデータはAppleが返金リクエストを適切に判断するためにのみ、Appleのポリシーに従って必要な範囲で提供されます。

データの削除

設定 → 進捗をリセット、またはアプリの削除により、すべての学習データをいつでも削除できます。作成したバックアップは、iCloud Driveや保存先から削除できます。

お子様について

Japananaはすべての年齢に適しており、お子様を含め、誰からも個人情報を収集しません。

本ポリシーの変更

本ポリシーは更新される場合があります。変更はアプリまたは本ウェブサイトでお知らせし、ページ上部に更新日を表示します。
